Homemade Fire Cider

How to make fire cider, a spicy tonic made from fresh horseradish, ginger, garlic, onions, cayenne pepper, apple cider vinegar, and honey.

Ever heard of fire cider? It's an immune-boosting tonic that has been used for decades to naturally guard against colds and flu while also relieving sinus congestion.

How awesome is it! And, with cold and flu season in full gear, I'll take whatever immune-boosting remedies I can get my hands on!

The base recipe contains horseradish, ginger, garlic, onions, cayenne pepper, and apple cider vinegar, but don't be alarmed! The final step before drinking is to add honey and any additional flavors to sweeten/balance as desired.

So, why do you want to suck this down? First and foremost, this stuff is liquid gold and pretty yummy! Isaac and I have developed a craving for the substance.

It has an incredible balance of spicy, sour, sweet, sharp, herbal, and almost every other taste I can think of.

Fire cider is like a trusted herbal companion, packed with immune-boosting components like fresh garlic, ginger, and turmeric!

This recipe may appear to be a recent addition to the realm of natural treatments, yet its origins may be traced back to ancient herbal medicinal traditions. This pungent, spicy tonic is a historical relic, created by wise herbalists who believed in the potency of nature's larder.
