Jelly Roll and Limp Bizkit Surprised with Who Classic Cover at Welcome to Rockville Fest

Since adding the 1971 Who's Next hit on their 2003 Results May Vary album, Limp Bizkit has performed their own version of “Behind Blue Eyes” live.

On Friday night at the Welcome to Rockville Festival at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, Fred Durst and crew got help with the cover during their headlining show.

Durst, wearing an orange bucket hat, questioned the crowd, “you feel me?” after singing “Eyes”' opening lyrics.

He then asked the audience to assist him identify “an angel” to save them. “I need your help praying now. Request an angel.

I need angels. Durst pleaded for an angel to rescue him. I mean anything. Drop something from above. No matter what, come out here, dear darling. Come save Freddy D, your brother!”

After several more requests to “save me,” Jelly Roll arrived on stage, waving his cowboy hat at the startled crowd as the “Save Me” singer sang a lyric over the sparse acoustic guitar

After Durst said, “ladies and gentlemen, the angel has came!,”.....

....the two guys sang the final “behind blue eyes” refrain and hugged center stage.
