The final season of Yellowstone continues to drag on, but we now have news that things are going along ahead of the season 5 part 2 release date.
The first half of season 5 aired in November 2022 and January 2023.
With production beginning on the final six episodes, Part 2 has begun filming in Montana.
That led to its November 2024 Paramount Network debut, over two years after the first half of the season.
The series' end will be weird without Kevin Costner, its erstwhile lead.
Costner wanted to focus on his $38 million “Horizon” western series, which he's been working on since 1988.
At least three or four films are planned for the series, and Costner left due to his commitment.
One film was made by him. A new video of Costner crying at the Cannes film ovation has gone viral, which is great.
